WHO: Space X, NASA and astronauts, Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley

WHAT: Space X’s Dragon capsule safely delivered NASA astronauts to the space station and returned them safely back home.

WHERE: The dragon Capsule splashed down off the coast of Florida.

WHY IT’S DISRUPTIVE: The US hasn’t been able to send astronauts to the space station since the retirement of the space shuttles. Space X and others are working to fill that gap. NASA is now relying on commercial space endeavors to fill the gap. Expect this to be the norm.
